I got more than what I wanted in a custom order by Braeden Paterson. He made me a beautiful (black cherry) hat, one that I've always wanted. I shared my inspiration of something similar to ones worn by Neil Young & Bob Dylan. He is very knowledgeable, passionate and brought my vision to life. I wore this hat on my wedding day, and it may have gotten more compliments than my wife got (hehe). I am constantly in awe of his craftsmanship and how much he's grown as a hat maker. It’s amazing to see how a Black Tulip Hat gets transformed from a floppy piece of felt into a work of personalized head art. All I had was a few thoughts and a couple of images as to what I was looking for. Braeden was able to start with that information and after studying my facial features and colouring, come up with several creative options. Since January of this year (2020) , I have had 3 custom hats handcrafted by Black Tulip. 2 of the hats were for me and the 3rd was a gift for my husband. Braeden communicated directly with me through out the process. He selected the finest material blends with luxurious, rich colors.
